Marwa

Marwa has published her own book with all her digital artwork in that focused on pollution and the environment. She juxtaposed different visual element to create exquisite landscapes. For example, she took the famous opening scene from Planet of the Apes but has the beach washed up with rubbish as a highly topical comment on society and waste. Inspired by artist Hannah Brown Marwa also removed all extraneous and distracting details from her photographs to create a subtle and seemingly ‘idyllic landscape. Pollution and plastic is never far away though.
