Ideas of ‘the surreal’ within a contemporary context of urban and still life have dominated Camilla’s practice. Fascinated by Salvador Dali’s symbolism of the egg within the subconscious landscape, Camilla who is over Spanish origin as well, explored through many different mediums, how an egg could become an absurd and comical juxtaposition with other visual forms.
