Abstracted House Plants 2022-23
The work of pioneering abstract artist Piet Mondrian changed quite significantly over his career, moving from drawing trees to his acclaimed modernist grids. We were particularly interested in exploring the moment he begins to abstract the trees and where representation shifts from the immediately recognisable to a more unusual space.
