Clem
Clem is a painter and has really enjoyed exploring the potential of the medium from monochromatic, painted prints to full colour portraiture, all based on photographs she has taken of friends and family and all have a subtle and intimate quality. Clem looked a range of influences from Alison Watt, a past artist-in-residence at The National Gallery, video artist Bill Viola and the famous C.17 sculptor Bernini. Her final underwater shoot let to an exciting large-scale monoprint.
